Jo & Laurie — A Review

Full disclosure, I stopped reading around the 38% mark.

I never finished Little Women because I found it dull. I did, however, enjoy the most recent film adaptation and was saddened by the fact Jo and Laurie don’t end up together. I hoped this book would offer me the ending I wanted; instead, it proved boring and I found myself doing everything but reading it — a sure sign that I should drop a book and pick up something more palatable.

If you’re a fan of retellings, and enjoyed Louisa May Alcott’s novel, maybe this book is for you. It did nothing for me.
